Ethos is a modern, resource-efficient CLI music player that bridges local music libraries with online streaming services. This guide covers all aspects of using Ethos, from entering commands to managing playback through keyboard shortcuts. If you have not yet installed Ethos, refer to the installation chapter.
Now, open your machine’s terminal or activate your virtual environment and run the following command:
This will launch Ethos and render the user interface directly in your terminal.
If your UI is successfully rendered in the terminal, check out commands to familiarize yourself with the interface.
